About Me

Hi, 

My name is Kim-Huibin Ma. I’m a systemic leader in software development, based in Berlin, where I live with my 9-year-old son in the green and peaceful neighborhood of Karlshorst. 

I am a registered Scrum Product Owner with strong expertise in agile product delivery and software management. I support teams in building high-value products by maintaining a dynamic and well-prioritized backlog, enabling continuous refinement, and ensuring that development efforts stay closely aligned with business goals and user needs. I also bring experience in scaling Scrum within SAFe environments, helping larger organizations align strategy, execution, and cross-team collaboration effectively. 

I value authentic and clear communication and proactively manage stakeholder expectations to create alignment and trust across all levels. I apply a strong user-centric approach and place great importance on clearly formulating vision and strategy, supported by thoughtful planning and lean, iterative execution. My approach combines structured agile practices with adaptability, collaboration, and a strong focus on delivering meaningful outcomes. 

I'm passionate about philosophy, psychology, and art. In my free time, I enjoy writing, being active in sports, and discovering Berlin’s culinary scene with friends. 

I feel a deep connection to my cultural roots in China and consider it a gift to be able to bridge Eastern and Western philosophy in my thinking and approach. 

My friends describe me as warm-hearted and compassionate. I'm deeply curious about people—their thoughts, emotions, and perspectives. Few things make me feel more connected than a truly inspiring conversation. 

My vision is to help create better workplaces—where people and organizations can grow and reach their goals together.
